I believe art should live, breathe, and grow

Hi, I'm Ian. I make these in my apartment in Bernal Heights in San Francisco. I started doing this because I love growing rare and unique plants and I love making beautiful art. Somehow these started coming together into pieces that I love, and I want to share them with the world :) Right now, I'm in my learning arc era, Drop 01 is the prototypes I made while learning my craft, and Drop 02 lands this summer with the polished version of what I've learned. Epiphytes are plants that grow on other plants and surfaces, drawing moisture and nutrients from the air. No soil needed. I mount them on hand-selected wood, painted wooden canvas, and stone so they can grow the way they would in the wild, and they look more like the things they really are.
